Electric water heater: types and their features
For its customers, the company Titan has developed several types of water heating equipment that are suitable for different needs, namely:
- Cumulative. Depending on the selected power, the electric boiler for heating water can work from both a two-phase and a three-phase power supply network. According to the scope of application, they are divided into:
- Titan water heaters have a special coating of the inner walls with organic silicon enamel, which protects the capacity from corrosive changes in the metal and becomes an additional barrier against the effects of high temperatures. The tank in this model can hold a minimum of 50 liters and a maximum of 500 liters, and their power is 4-45 kW. The price of an electric water heater may differ from the price indicated on the website if the customer wishes to order a unit with wall mounting (this option is available for tanks with a volume of up to 100 liters) or to include additional options in the design.
- Production ones can be used at large enterprises or individual institutions that have appropriate premises and a power supply of 380 V. The heating equipment has 6 options with a tank volume from 750 to 4000 l, but it is usually possible to buy an electric boiler with a volume of more than 2000 l under order with preliminary specification of overall parameters. The unit can heat water from 0 to 75°C, but a special temperature limiter prevents possible boiling of water and maintains the temperature at the desired level.
- Flowing. For this type, TENA blocks are used, which perform the function of heating water up to a mark of 70°C, which is supplied depending on the needs of the consumer. And the equipment itself is not conducive to scale formation, thanks to special protection. They work at a voltage of 380 V and have several types of installation:
- Mounting to the wall. In this case, the power of the water heater varies from 9 to 30 kW, and the volume of the tank does not exceed 5 liters. The electric boiler has fixed overall dimensions: length – 41 cm, height – 79 cm, depth – 17 cm, and its weight is 35 kg. At the bottom of the front panel there is a built-in temperature regulator, as well as trigger mechanisms. The temperature in the unit can be maintained in automatic mode, and thanks to the water flow sensor, heating will be performed only during the period when the electric boiler is in an active state, that is, when using water. The presence of a thermal limitation sensor protects the heaters from their possible overheating.
- Installation on the floor. The water heater of this modification has a power range from 45 to 120 kW and at the same time the maximum temperature of water heating remains unchanged – 70°C, and the working process of the unit occurs only when connected to a three-phase network (380 V). At the same time, the overall dimensions differ depending on the power, so water heaters of 45, 60 and 75 kW have a corresponding weight of 78, 85, 93 kg and a height of 102.5 cm. An electric water heater with a power of 90, 105, 120 kW has a weight of 140, 149, 156 kg and a height of 136 .5 cm. Such parameters as width 46 cm and depth 69 cm remain unchanged at any specified power and height, and the volume of the tank does not exceed 40 liters. On top of the front panel of the unit there is a temperature indicator, a power and temperature regulator, as well as start buttons.
All Titan electric water heaters are made exclusively of high-quality carbon steel and have a wall thickness of 4 mm. The only exception is the floor-standing 50-500 l capacity water heater, which has a wall thickness of 2 mm. And also each of them has a rectangular shape.
